SARA NEWS
Our newsletter is published monthly from August through May. It is sent to members via email or U.S. mail (at an extra cost) and includes announcements of our upcoming meetings and events, summaries of recent meetings and other announcements and articles of interest. We also include announcements of events with a Scandinavian theme which may be of interest to our members. We welcome submissions to our newsletters from those looking for assistance, offering research tips, writing articles, or announcing events of interest to our members. SARA JOURNAL
Each issue spotlights a province (landskap) of Sweden. An overall description and history of the area, maps, photographs, and native costumes are included to give a feel for the area where our ancestors originated. Feature articles detail major events, individuals or other topics of interest. Also featured in each issue is the story of a family who emigrated from the province to North America.
